Special section

Nuclear

Five sites, each with the reported state of its reactor units, the course of off-site power and the reports in chronological order. What is shown is what the responsible bodies have published.

The basis is mainly the consecutively numbered situation reports of the International Atomic Energy Agency. Because the numbering has no gaps, it can be checked whether a report is missing from this page.

The data holdings are currently unreachable. No figures are shown here.

Reports recorded: 0

Unit state

A state holds from the report that names it until a report says something else about the same unit.

We hold no report on unit states for this site.

Off-site power

Number of available external power lines as a step curve. Below the zero line, the periods for which emergency diesel operation was reported.

What we do not know

This section appears for every site and stays in place even when the situation is quiet.

  • No report has been recorded for this site yet. The points below apply regardless.
  • We measure nothing ourselves. All figures on cooling, grid connection and radiation come from external publications and are neither recalculated nor assessed here.
  • Two days pass between some reports, several weeks between others. For the time in between we hold nothing. The charts leave such periods open instead of drawing a line through them.
  • We cannot see what happens inside a plant. What is shown is what was reported.
  • For sites that are not under Ukrainian administration there is no independent on-site reporting. Where accounts from both sides exist, they are placed side by side.
  • On the situation of the staff we hold only the statements of the reporting bodies.
